Door Hardware Certification

*4 year certification card upon completion of class.
*Journey level and 8th period apprentices only.
* Tools Required: Vix Bit #12, Hammer (Finish) smooth face, Combination Square or Speed Square, Tape Measure (25' or 30' with 1" blade, Utility Knife, Hand Level 24" or 30", Chisel Set (1/2", 1/2:, 3/4:, 1") Full Set, Nail (Set 2/32), Adjustable Wrench (10" or 12"), Philips Screwdriver #2 & #3, Straight Blade Screwdriver.
The certification class involves the following:
A pretest of Door Hardware knowledge is given (If the instructor deems insufficient knowledge he will not allow the student to continue). Class also includes a review of Door Hardware Units 1 2 and 3 and a certification test.
