Metal stud framing classes are designed to utilize all interior methods with techniques for installation of steel framing products which include drywall, suspeded ceiling systems (stud, drywall grid or hat channel), lathing sytems and computer flooring.
MSF 01 - Basic Walls, Doors, Re-Lights & Access Panels -

This class consists of laying out the project from a plan, installing top and bottom track, installing studs on layout, installing a hollow metal door jamb and relite and an access panel

MSF 02 - Layout of Pentagons, Hexagons & Octagons -
8 Hours
This class consists of laying out three shapes from procedures utilizing a framing square, tape measure, pencil and chalk line. The student then frames as many of these items as possible in the 8 hour class.

MSF 03 - Shaft Wall Systems -
8 Hours
This class consists of laying out the project from a plan, installing top and bottom track, installing shaft liner panels and shaft wall studs. Students will build serveral walls and soffits/curtain wall drops in this class.

MSF 04 - GWB Soffits, Stairstep Soffits & Curtain Walls -
8 Hours
This class consists of laying out the project from a plan, installing top track, installing soffits joist, wall angle and other items to form a stairstep soffit. At the students request, light cove or other special elements can be incorporated into the project.

MSF 05 - Suspended Drywall Ceilings (CRC & HC) -
8 Hours
This class consists of laying out the project from a plan, installing hanger wires, wall angle, and carrier channels, Installing drywall channel using tie wire and frame an opening for a flush mount light fixture.

MSF 06 - Chamfered Ceilings -
8 Hours
This class consists of laying out the project from a plan, building three full height walls, and a curtain wall. The student then frames a chamfered ceilling (45 degrees) elements around the four sides of the project.

MSF 07 - Barrel ceiling, arched soffits -
8 Hours
This class consists of laying a project out from a plane. Students will build three full height walls, curtain walls with an arch, two curtain walls that make up the sides of the area, and a semicircular ceiling is framed between the two parallel curtain walls.

MSF 08 - Radius walls, soffits -
8 Hours
This class consists of laying a project out from a plan. Students will learn to install top and bottom tracks, install wall studs, frame soffits, and curtain walls which form a semicircle.

This class offers classroom and shop time focused on the use of drywall grid ceiling systems in construction flat, barrel and dome ceilling and different soffit configurations. Participants will learn how to layout the project from a plan.
