Aerial Lift 8hr / Highwall 8hr - 16 hours

AERIAL LIFT (8hrs): This course covers safe operation and inspection procedures for both self propelled elevating work platforms (scissors lifts) and boom supported elevating work platforms. PPE and other safety equipment will be covered. Applicable OSHA and ANSI standards will also be discussed.
HIGHWALL (8hrs): This course covers the installation and disassembly of highwall trade show pipe and drape systems (9 - 25 feet). Tool safety practices and equipment required will be covered in the classroom and lab demonstrations.

Basic Operations & Floor Layout - 16 hours

BASIC OPERATIONS (8hrs): This course gives a view of a trade show from the inside and from the perspective of the management team. Topics covered include types of shows & pre-show planning meetings, venue floor plans, permits, signs, graphics, furnishings and labor services provided by promoters and contractors. The responsibilities of the trade show worker such as job function, proper conduct and required tools will also be discussed.
FLOOR LAYOUT (8 hrs): This course studies trade show floor plan symbol interpretation, venue layout and the different types of exhibit booths found on the show floor in the classroom and lab demonstrations.

Carpet (Tradeshow) - 8 hours

Customer Service I - 8 hours

This is the first of a two part basic curriculum for a 12 hour work readiness skill building, assessment-based course, designed to instruct and prepare trade show workers on essential entry-level work readiness skills needed to successfully get and keep a trade show job.
Building on concepts previously introduced in Trade Show orientation, this eight hour course provides instruction in dealing with difficult people, conflict resolution, communicating and team building with emphasis on situational problem solving.

I&D (8 hrs): This course covers the proper procedures of installation and disassembly of trade show exhits such as panel and pop-up displays. Safety practices, tools and various equipment required along with special and common features of these displays will be covered in the classroom and lab demonstrations.
GRAPHICS (4 hrs): This class covers installation of the most common signage and graphics used at a show site. Safe handling precautions and techniques are emphasized in the hands-on lab demonstrations.
LADDERS (4 hrs): This class covers the basics of the most common ladders used at a show site. Safe handling precautions and techniques are emphasized in the classroom and hands-on lab demonstrations.

Industrial Forklift / Material Handling - 16 hours

INDUSTRIAL FORKLIFT (8 hrs): This course is designed for both new and experienced industiral forklift operators. Classroom training utilizes group discussions, workbooks and videos to cover current regulations, inspection, and safe operation of an Industrial Forklift. A hands-on evaluation of each individual operator out in the shop finishes up this class. This course meets OSHA training requirements.
MATERIAL HANDLING (8 hrs): This course covers the proper procedures for handling materials during installation and disassembly of trade show exhibits. Safety pratices, tools and various required equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks will be covered in the classroom and lab demonstrations.

OSHA 10 - 10 Hours

*A certification card will be awarded upon completion.

This class is designed by the U.S. Department of Labor with the purpose of making our job sites safer and to limit job site accidents and injuries. The 10-hour Construction Safety course provides an overview of the OSHA safety and health standards for the construction industry. Participants learn about the rights and responsibilities of both the employee and the employer.

Systems, Intro to Graphics & Customer Service II - 16 hours

SYSTEMS (8 hrs): This course covers trade show systems, installation removal procedures, safety requirements and the special as well as common features of systems displays. The responsibilities of the trade show worker such as job function, proper conduct and required specialized tools will also be covered.
INTRO TO GRAPHICS (4 hrs): This course covers the basics of the most common signage and graphics used at a show site. Safe handling precautions and techniques are emphasized in the classroom.
CUSTOMER SERVICE II (4 hrs): This is the second of a two part basic curriculum for a 12 hours work readiness skill building, assessment-based course, designed to instruct and prepare trade show workers on essential entry-level work readiness skills needed to sucessfully get and keep a trade show job.
Building on concepts previously introduced in Customer Service I, this four hour course focuses instruction specifically on dealing with difficult people, conflict resolution and communication.
